Dust-mite diaries

July 20, 2009

We are in the process of removing the two-decade old carpet from all the gallery spaces @ SECCA.  In the process several million dust-mites / refugees are now looking for new homes beyond the gallery walls. It was difficult to imagine so many microscopic lives turned upside down but we are sure they will land on their feet and be very happy in their new home at the landfill.

But seriously, we are looking to return to business with a new slightly more industrial look of finished concrete for our gallery floors. It will facilitate maintenance and installation issues in the future. It will also give us a significant jump on any future floor treatments. Check back soon for photos.
